I’ve got the answer for you. Take the challenge to go meat free for one week. That’s only seven days, just 21 meals. You probably already have a couple of meat free meals now so maybe it’s less than 21 meals you have to worry about.
The idea behind Meat Free Week is to encourage everyone to think about how much meat they are eating and the impact it has on their health, as well as the health of animals and the planet.
Meat Free Week began in Australia in 2013 and expanded to the UK in 2015 and has four focuses:
+ Challenge yourself to give up meat this Meat Free Week.
+ Bowel cancer risk increases with the amount of meat consumed.
+ Consider the impact of eating too much meat.
+ Your choices have the power to make real change happen.
